Supply Chain Excellence
Professor Sue Baxter of Brighton University said “PVL UK Ltd demonstrated the importance of the company’s values and ethics and how these are mirrored with the partners that they work with.
“A lot of care and effort has gone into the application and supporting documents highlighting their movement within the export market and how the supply chain has developed to support this.
“They have an innovative approach to managing downstream risk in its supply chain, realising that UK emergency services, of which they have a 50% share of the market, has the potential to change quickly with other competitors coming into the market and limits to UK public spending. “They have therefore spread into a global market with selective partnerships in new markets, including UAE and Algeria.”
And Runners up for…………
International Business of the Year
International growth has enormous benefits for the Gatwick Diamond economy. This Award will go to the organisation that best demonstrates an international growth strategy that has achieved outstanding levels of sales, profit and market share improvement.
Special Thanks
Nick Broom, CEO said “I am so proud of the PVL team and what we have been recognised for with these awards. I was satisfactorily delighted to make finalists in the four awards we entered, but to win outright in two has exceeded our hopes. We’ve used the awards entry, judging process and feedback as a mechanism to gain impartial feedback on the entire business from an external perspective and brought changes in where we’ve felt it would make us a better business to work for and with. We strive to be the best in not just the region, but our sector and around the world; these awards help confirm that we are moving in the right direction!”
