JCB Greenshields Chapter 8 livery
Client and service overview
Greenshields JCB run a fleet of approx 50 Ford Transits from seven depots; their primary function is to support their customers with parts and service businesses in the South East.
JCB Greenshields’ Regional Aftermarket Manager, Simon Hoare, wanted to ensure that the fleet was Chapter 8 compliant to allow them to deliver their goods onto sites throughout the region. PVL were tasked with providing as much high-visibility marking coverage as possible without affecting the corporate branding.
How did PVL approach the enquiry?
After a meeting with Simon to demonstrate the differences in the materials available, he decided to specify the highest grade, prismatic material, and we agreed on the coverage that would be acceptable. Within a couple of days we had provided a visual design and agreed on the material spec to be used.
What we supplied
We supplied the first batch of rear kits manufactured from Rennicks’ CrystalGrade red prismatic and Hi-SCal fluorescent yellow (non-reflective) materials and within 10 days Greenshields JCB were fitting them onto their fleet.
This was supported by guidance relating to the cleaning of vehicles prior to fitting the kits and aftercare, and a commitment to delivering future kits in a timely fashion.
What was the outcome?
To date we have delivered 35 rear kits within the agreed timescales and have had no issues with quality or service. We have met all of the customers’ timescales and expectations to date and we look forward to continuing to develop this relationship in the coming years.
“The input and back-up we receive from PVL is fantastic and they guarantee replacement items swiftly should ours become damaged whilst completing our daily routines. Our vehicles are regularly valeted and even using high pressure jet wash we have had no problems with the quality of the kits that have been provided to us.”
