Dyfed-Powys Police Boat
When asked by Inspector Andy Phillips to suggest a company to design, produce and apply the livery for a recently bought boat, Martin Marks, Fleet Manager at Dyfed-Powys Police had no hesitation in recommending PVL who have been supplying livery kits for the Force’s vehicles for seven years.
Never any problem – always solutions.
Dyfed-Powys Police recently bought a Nelson 38. boat (38 feet in length). Originally built and now furbished by Dale Sailing. The brief was simple – make sure everyone knows it’s a police boat.
We submitted visuals to Inspector Andy Phillips for approval including having the text as bilingual. After a few small changes the boat was templated at Dale Sailing, Neyland, Pembrokeshire. Reflexite was chosen for the battenburg, to eliminate ingress of water between material layers, as no edge-sealing was required. The livery was applied at Dale Sailing. The boat is currently on the water undergoing trials. It will be in service 24/7 patrolling the Milford Haven area ensuring the protection of the infrastructure.
Mike Reynolds, Director of Dale Sailing said he was “Very happy with the result”
